Doug took a day off of work to record Via Audio, nice of him to accommodate their tour schedule. We had about two hours to load them in, sound check and record before sending them off to a radio interview up north at WLUW. All of this before their official record release show at Schubas later that night. They recorded their new LP, Animalore, with Spoon drummer/engineer Jim Eno and seemed happily anxious to play shows behind it. I met a couple friends at Schubas to see their headlining gig (the amazing Pattern is Movement opened the night), and based on the long line at the merch table after the show, I suspect they made enough for gas, food and hopefully a nice place to stay on the way to their next tour stop.
