We were lucky to have Relay Beken over before one half the band moved from Chicago to the Alaskan wilderness (source: their Facebook page). Their bass cabinet took three of us to move it from their truck, through the narrow walkway, and into the coach house basement (at least that's how I remember it). David and Robert generated a ton of noise considering it was just two of them; it was hard to hear everything they were up to but I could tell Doug was enjoying it through his headphones. When I look over at Doug while a band's playing, and his eyes are closed, and he's doing a somewhat limited/awkward engineer dance due to his need to be standing within a two foot foot radius, I know it's a good one.
