I saw a note online a few weeks back that Johnny and the Limelites were playing their final show. Not sure if it’s true or not, but either way we are glad to have gotten them in the coach house before that announcement went up. Brian surfaces around Chicago as a novelist, music writer, DJ, musician, live reader (he’s done a couple live readings for CHS events) and record store clerk. He’s also the brains behind a new variety show that takes place at the Hideout called “Shame that Tune.” Whether or not Johnny is gone, it’s good to know that we’ll still be seeing Brian around town just as much as ever…
