Around the time of our Scott Tuma/Hungry Brain show, I received a nice email from a local musician named Jason Shanley. He mentioned how he found us through the Tuma listing and also shared a link containing his own guitar + pedals + computer soundscapes. After corresponding for a little bit, we finally pinned Jason (aka Cinchel) down for a night of recording with us. His session was especially enjoyable for two reasons: 1) I'm going through a big wordless music phase and 2) I didn't have to wear my earplugs... Since receiving the mastered tracks from Doug a couple weeks ago, the Cinchel session has been on repeat for me, and I'm happy that now others can get into to it as well.
